Magic 1978 DVD Anthony Hopkins

Magician's assistant Corky (Sir Anthony Hopkins) performs disastrously at his first solo appearance. He is given a ventriloquist dummy called Fats to improve his act and within a few years Corky is at the height of fame. To escape his new fame and fortune Corky heads out to the country and rents a small house on a lake owned by Peggy Ann Snow (Ann-Margret) and her brother Duke Snow. Romance soon fills the air between Corky and Peggy Ann and the two begin to fall in love. However, Fats has developed a mind of his own and wants to control his master. Love and death mix to bring a sad end to a possible bright future.
