Takayuki Takeya is one of Japan's most famous figure designers, responsible for many Chogokin figures and awesome model kits. This is the second in Takeya's new series of action figures based on Buddhist mythology. It depicts Komokuten, also known as Virupaksa, one of the Four Heavenly Kings who are the protectors of the world and enemies of evil. Komokuten is the guardian of the West, famed for his powers of perception, foremost of which is the far-seeing gaze (senrigan) that allows him to see at tremendous distances and learn of approaching threats to the world.
This amazing figure is crafted in superb detail, from fierce expression to ornamented armor, and has all the poseability we expect from a Revoltech figure, with 21 points of articulation and a suite of optional parts including the brush and scroll that symbolize his role as a gatherer of information and keeper of knowledge, four additional hands, and more. His base takes the form of a fallen demon, crushed under the weight of Komokuten's virtue. This PVC figure stands 13cm (5.1") tall and is the perfect thing to ward your room against evil.
