Lindberg 1/250 Blackbeard Pirate Ship Model Kit

Pirate ships were usually armed private vessels commissioned by one country with letters of marquee - commissions granted to ship owners allowing attacks on an enemy nation's war ships or commerce.

Seamen serving on pirate ships were not paid in regular wages, but in shares of the loot taken from ships they had attacked. The greater the number of ships attacked, the more loot to be divided among the pirates.

This kit boasts the fine detail of its fully formed sails, rigging blocks, detailed cannons, and includes its own display stand. Plastic cement and paint are required for assembly, and are sold separately.
