Lost In Space Jupiter 2 II 18" Launch Pad Gantry Model Kit

When assembled, this model kit is fairly big.  It measures about 18" in diameter, and it is about 12" tall.  The kit features machine shaped supports and center deck, with other parts manufactured from mostly strip styrene, ABS plastic, or resin cast. Detailed instructions are included.  This kit is VERY clean and sharp -- very little sanding should be required.  You will need something to cut the styrene strips that are used as flashing on the edges of the gantry legs, which is easy to do.

Average to above average modeling skills will be needed to build this kit. Replacement parts are available if you need them!  I also strongly suggest using Ambrose Pro-Weld brand adhesive glue as the kit is made from a variety of materials, and the Ambrose Pro-Weld works with all of them!
 
If you are creative with your modeling, you can trim this kit a bit more and use it to display one of the old Lunar Models 16.5” kits as  well. The kit just requires a little trimming as the diameter of the Lunar Models kit is smaller than that of the Moebius Models J-2 kit.

NOTE:  This is NOT the same launch pad "garage" kit you may have seen for sale elsewhere on the net:  unlicensed, inaccurate, full of bubble holes, warped, and with casting seams and excess flashing requiring a lot of putty, sanding and shaping to get it to go together.

It is an EXTREMLY ACCURATE MODEL KIT made with thorough attention to detail using very high quality components and tons of research! This kit is VERY clean and crisp!  You will be amazed to find out how very little sanding and preparation is required.

Actually, Depending on your range of modeling skills, you can easily turn this into a museum-quality prop / showpiece or simply use it as a beautiful display stand for your Moebius Models Jupiter 2 model.
