Order Assistance

• We are here to assist you in locating and securing products, and in the fulfillment of your orders.  We are also here to assist when you have special needs, or if problems arise. Our goal is to provide quality customer service and we request a fair opportunity to resolve any issues or concerns you may have. The most effective manner of communiction is via email.  Please click here, Contact Us,  for the appropriate department.  Please note that we receive thousands of emails every day of the year, and process them as quickly as possible.

International Orders and Payment Terms

• As a general policy, Monsters in Motion does not pre-charge your credit card upon placement of your order or prior to shipment.  The only exceptions are for lay-aways, special orders, and custom build-up works of art.

• International shipments do not automatically carry tracking, confirmation, or insurance.  These shipping extras are only provided upon the specific request by the customer, and only if paid for by the customer.  Any shipments lost or damaged in which the customer did not request and pay for tracking, confirmation, or insurance, are the sole responsibility of the customer, and Monsters in Motion is not to be held responsibile for any losses incurred.
• We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Personal Checks and Money Orders in US funds, and Bank Wire Transfers.
• Your credit card is not charged when your order is received.  You are charged when your item is ready to ship.  The exception being upon placing orders for Custom Build-Ups, Finished Kits, and Special Orders.
• Shipping charges within the United States are ESTIMATED per the DOMESTIC (U.S.A.) "Table Rate" as shown below. The "Table Rate" does NOT apply to international orders.  Furthermore, many of our products are fragile, or oversized and/or overweight. Final adjusted shipping charges will be calculated at the time of actual shipping based upon both the "raw weight" and "dimensional weight" (Length x Height x Width).  If shipping charge adjustments exceed $9.00 (U.S. funds), we will attempt to contact you to confirm additional shipping charges prior to shipping the products.  If we ship prior to confirming shipping charges, the customer accepts that all direct, out of pocket shipping charges to Monsters in Motion are to be paid for by the customer.  Monsters in Motion does not absorb shipping charges for any reason.
• Domestic orders are usually shipped via Federal Express (FedEx) or United States Postal Service (USPS), unless noted or advised otherwise.
• We do not ship COD. 
• Our goal is to process your order as quickly as possible.  However, you should allow 2-4 weeks for delivery from the time the order is actually entered into our system if that particular item is in stock, unless otherwise noted or advised.

International Orders Returns Terms

• It is your responsibility to promptly inspect your purchase upon receipt.
• ALL returns, exchanges, or claims for missing or damaged parts must be made within 7 days of receipt.
• There are absolutely no refunds or exchanges on Custom Built & Painted items, Finished Kits, Special Orders, or shipping and handling fees for any reason.
• Damaged or defective videos, soundtracks and software may be returned for the same merchandise only.
• Please be certain that the items you are ordering are correct. There is a 15% restocking fee for all returns for credit or cash refunds. You may return items within 15 days of receipt for store credit.
• Please call (714) 577-8863 for an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization Number). We will not issue an RMA # through e-mail.
• An RMA # number must be marked on the outside of your return Package or Box, but NEVER placed directly onto the original item package or box itself. Putting the RMA number on the product package or box ruins the product. This means you must double-box or double-wrap.  Should you place an RMA# onto the original package or box itself, the product cannot be accepted for return or credit and will be returned to you at your shipping expense.
• ALL return (RMA) items are to be shipped prepaid and insured via United States Postal Service (USPS), Federal Express (FedEx), United Parcel Service (UPS), or DHL.
• Please allow 2 weeks upon our receipt for processing.
• Do Not return entire kits or product items without prior authorization, and without receiving an RMA #.  Allow our staff time to resolve issues which arise.  We are usually able to resolve problems quickly and easily. If we find that the damage is unreasonable or happened after it was delivered, you will be charged a minimum of $7.50 Call Tag Fee plus the return shipping charges as well as the 15% restock fee.

Missing or Damaged Parts Terms

• It is your responsibility to promptly inspect your purchase upon receipt.
• If you discover a missing or damaged part please call our customer service desk and we will gladly try to obtain that part through the manufacturer on your behalf.
• Do not begin assembling your kit until all the parts are received.  Doing so will void your return if the parts cannot be replaced.
• Replacement parts whether manufactured outside or within the United States may take an extended period to receive.

90-Day Layaway Terms

• Layaways are applicable only to orders of $100.00 or more for one item.
• Single orders may be placed on a 90 day layaway plan.
• Initial Payment of 30% of the total must be paid when the order is placed.
• Balance must be paid within 90 days.
• Payments are not transferable to other orders or customers.
• Statement will be mailed after each payment received.
• If final payment has not been received within 90 days, the order is cancelled and all payments are forfeited.
• No notice will be given.
• All layaways sales orders placed are final sales.
• Customers are allowed one layaway at a time.

Gift Certificate Voucher Terms

• Available for purchase in specified amounts via the internet.
• Printed Certificates are available in specified amounts, but must be redeemed through the mail or at our retail store.  Only Gift Certificate Vouchers purchased via the internet are redeemable for internet purchases.

• NOTE: Gift Certificate Vouchers purchased via the internet may be restricted from use for 30 days to prevent fraud.

Shipping & Handling Charges and Terms - International Orders

DVDs, CDs, and Videos are normally charged (Canada / Mexico) $6.90 for the first item, and $1.50 for each additional item in the same order, (Other International) $7.90 and $1.50 for each additional item in the same order.  These are based on single unit weights.  Additional shipping charges would apply to "multi-pack" units which weigh considerably more or where bulky retail packaging is included.

The "Table Rate" does NOT apply to international orders.  Furthermore, many of our products are fragile, or oversized and/or overweight. The $5 per box fee does not apply to CDs and DVDs. We will attempt to contact you to confirm additional shipping charges prior to shipping the products.  If we ship prior to confirming shipping charges, the customer accepts that all direct, out of pocket shipping charges to Monsters in Motion are to be paid for by the customer.  Monsters in Motion does not absorb shipping charges for any reason.

The customer AGREES to pay for all costs and expenses incurred for shipping and handling.   NOTE: Shipping & Handling charges that appear with your initial order may not be accurate due to the unique character, nature and fragility of the items we carry.  Thus, shipping and handling charges will be adjusted accordingly.  If the Shipping Charge on your order shows as $0.00 (no charge), that is an indicator that shipping charges are to be calculated separately based upon the nature of the product.  Shipping & handling charges are NOT refundable for cash or credit after the order has been shipped, for any reason.

Shipping & Handling Terms - OVERSIZED / OVERWEIGHT Items

If the item you ordered stated oversized or overweight in the description, it will usually be shipped separately from all other items ordered and separate shipping fees will be charged.  This may not appear on the initial internet order.  If you are uncertain about the items you ordered and would like to know a more approximate estimate of Shipping & Handling charges, please call (714) 577-8863, or email Customer Service.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.  

Shipping & Handling Terms - Custom Build-Ups & Finished Kits

• All Build-Up and Finished Kit items will ship 2nd day air via FedEx separately from the rest of the order.
• A customer service representative will attempt to telephone or email you with the charges before shipment.  A valid email address is thus a necessity, or shipping will be charged prior to shipping and the product will be shipped.  A valid email address is also a necessity as it allows us to notify you to be alert to receive the shipment.  NOTE: Monsters in Motion does NOT absorb shipping & handling costs for any reason.  The customer AGREES to pay for all costs and expenses incurred for shipping and handling.

Privacy Policies

• Monsters in Motion provides secure online transactions.  We take the utmost precaution to protect your privacy.  We do not distribute, sell, lend, or otherwise present your private information to ANY PERSON, COMPANY, or ORGANIZATION.  We do not allow any access to our email lists, nor names, addresses, telephone numbers, or any other personal information.
• Additionally, we do not contribute to the spam problem in any manner.
• We require your date of birth as we are sincere about protecting children from purchasing products outside their age brackets.  We are sure you understand and agree with our goals.
