Hasegawa proudly introduces its detailed model kit of the MV-22B Osprey — the world’s first operational tilt-rotor aircraft. The Osprey has defied convention from day one; its unique design gives it Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) plus Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) capabilities. Although it functions like a heli, the Osprey cruises with the speed and range of a turboprop plane. With its first deployment in 2007 in Iraq, the MV-22B Osprey proved its value. Not only can it carry 24 combat troop members, it can travel twice as fast and five times farther than previous helicopters.
