Godzilla 1954 Re:Imagination 7.5" ARTPLA KAIYODO Plastic Model Kit:

A new Godzilla model has been added to Kaiyodo's "ARTPLA Sculpture Works" series, which brings you masterpieces in plastic kit form! The original model was created by Shinobu Matsumura, a leading expert in natural history and biological modeling. Based on promotional stills from the 1954 release of "Godzilla," the model reconstructs and recreates the essence of various Godzillas over the past 70 years. Rather than recreating a suit or CG, this model depicts the appearance of the ancient giant creature as it appeared in Tokyo. The collapsed Nichigeki Building and the elevated Japanese National Railways tracks at the base of the model, as well as the iconic pose of Godzilla grabbing a train in his mouth, enhance the sense of realism. Matsumura's sculpture is condensed into a total of eight runners as a fixed-pose plastic kit. The complex organic surface details of the body have been faithfully reproduced from the original model. Despite the complex division, the structure used in the previously released series, where the body surface parts are attached to the base body, ensures sturdiness. The part alignment, which is a challenge with this method, is molded with high precision, and the division lines are not noticeable. The assembly process is fun, and when completed, this model becomes something that can be displayed even unpainted! Of course, if you paint it, it'll look even more amazing! Order this classic scene for your own collection today!
