International Orders, Policies, Shipping, Returns

General Information

You are responsible for any, and all custom/import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees, even for returned, damaged or defective products. Monsters In Motion is not responsible for these charges. Certain products may have restrictions or other regulations that may prohibit or delay delivery to your country. Monsters in Motion is not responsible for delays or seizures due to another country's own customs or regional policies. Once an international shipment reaches the destination country, it is the destination country's responsibility to update tracking. Monsters in Motion is not responsible for lost or delayed shipments once it has been received by the local international country. All claims must be made with your local postal service IMPORTANT: Please contact your local customs department or local post office for more information.  By ordering from our site you are agreeing that all fees will be solely at the purchasers cost, all refused packages or returns are the purchaser's sole responsibility for the destination and return fees at purchasers cost and this amount will not be refunded.  Refunds for only the product will be given once product is returned to our warehouse

·         At Monsters in Motion, we offer a unique way to acquire rare and limited products by preordering them in advance. Many of our products are so in demand that they are sold out before they even arrive. If you prefer to wait until the product arrives, it may be too late. Since we sell rare and unusual items they may or may not be in stock, but are always available, even if there is no preorder arrival date given, unless marked sold out. It is best to inquire by email or phone to verify availability of items.We recommend using a credit card for preorders, as we will not charge it until the item is ready to ship. This way you can reserve the item with no upfront cost. Monsters in Motion reserves the right to charge credit cards for preorders immediately if the customer has a history of cancellations  Please note when using your PayPal account, you are authorizing them to pay us instantly.

Whenever possible, we try to combine multiple items together to save you shipping costs. Since preorder item arrival times are only estimates, we strongly suggest keeping any preorder item in separate orders from in-stock or other preorder or special order items. We will ship ahead any in-stock items in orders that contain preorder items yet to arrive. This will result in extra shipping costs to you. Please be mindful of this when combining preorder or special items in a single order. Also, some items, such as posters requiring a separate mailing package (tube), or very fragile items, may need to be shipped apart from others. Based on customer history, the amount of items order, or the total order value, we may automatically take up to a 25% deposit.

Though our goal is to provide pristine products, some items may have slight cosmetic flaws from normal shelf wear or differences in color shade, general appearance, packaging or model version and may differ from our posted product photos. Boxes may have slight creases or dents, also. These conditions are not considered defects. Keep this in mind when ordering and by all means email or call us before you purchase or open a sealed box or purchase. Resin Kits

 “Resin kits require model building and painting skills. Many parts may require prep, sanding, fitting and some scratch building. Some models do not come with printed box or instructions and are intended for experienced modelers. Our amazing staff of professional model builders can build and paint this kit for you. Media

Many items such as CD's/DVD's/Blu-ray's/LP's/Media/Resin kits/Statues/T-shirts/Apparel/Pins/Fantasy Boxes/Props-Replicas/Purses/Wallets/Posters/Books/Magazines/Lighting kits/Decal/Paint sets are generally in stock, but are reordered bi-weekly, so they can ship anywhere from a few days to 6 weeks, generally. Many costumes, accessories, masks, etc. are seasonal, and may not have a definitive arrival date. Please inquire by email or phone to verify stock or appearance of item(s) .Books & magazines are reordered bi-weekly, so they ship anywhere from a few days to 6 weeks, however some are imported or independently published and the lead time may be much longer. Some titles are rare and/or unusual and we may limit the amount we sell to any one customer to give all of our customers an opportunity to get one. Please inquire by email if you are on a timeline, and we strongly suggest taking advantage of our preorder policy and use a credit card, so you won’t be charged for your item(s) until shipping time.

Customer Information

Your online account address is for billing, and shipping info is ORDER-based as many people use different shipping addresses, so if you change your address in your account, after an order is placed, it is your responsibility to update us by email or phone, with your current or preferred shipping address for each order.  International shipments do not automatically carry tracking, confirmation, or insurance. Monsters in Motion is not to be held responsible for any losses incurred. Special shipping requests are done as a courtesy and are not always granted. Monsters in Motion is not responsible for meeting these courtesy requests. Also, if you want to change your email, please login to your account with your old email, then change the email in your profile, then the next time you login, you will just use your new email address with your same password. This avoids creating the confusion that multiple accounts can bring “All customer information is order based. If you change your shipping or billing info, it will remain the same in your order, but your account will reflect the changes, and any order after that will also reflect the new changes. If you have an outstanding order yet to be shipped, it is your responsibility to inform us by email or phone of any changes to your account. We accept most major credit cards and Money Orders in US funds, plus PayPal. On preorder items, PayPal and US Money Orders are funded to us immediately. Based on customer history, the amount of items order (custom or special) or total order value, we may automatically take up to a 25% deposit. Many of our products are fragile, or over-sized and/or overweight. Final adjusted shipping charges will be calculated at the time of actual shipping based upon both the "raw weight" and "dimensional weight" (Length x Height x Width). At times shipping charge adjustments occur due to unexpected size and weights as many items are newly released, so we may attempt to contact you for additional shipping charges prior to shipping the products, or we may charge you or change the method of shipping to accommodate funds provided.  The customer accepts that all direct, out of pocket shipping charges to Monsters in Motion are to be paid for by the customer. Only Priority Mail Express is guaranteed delivery. Priority Mail, First Class, Media Mail Smart Post, and FedEx are not. Monsters in Motion is not responsible for delayed or lost packages from the U S Postal office or FedEx. You may file a claim with them if this happens. If you want guaranteed delivery and don't see that option, please contact us to give you a quote. Based on costs, area and shipping times, Monsters in Motion reserves the right to use a different postal carrier than whay you chose in checkout. If you have a specific restriction on your postal carrier, please let us know in the checkout "notes" section. The customer AGREES to pay for all costs and expenses incurred for shipping and handling.   NOTE: Shipping & Handling charges that appear with your initial order may not be accurate due to the unique character, nature and fragility of the items we carry.  Thus, shipping and handling charges will be adjusted accordingly.  If the Shipping Charge on your order shows as $0.00 (no charge), that is an indicator that shipping charges are to be calculated separately based upon the nature of the product.  Shipping & handling charges are NOT refundable for cash or credit after the order has been shipped, for any reason. International Orders/Returns and Cancellations

Due to the mass volume of emails, we receive each day, we usually won't accept email cancellations.  International customers may email us with a cancellation, though. We cannot cancel an order that has already been processed for shipping! We will send an email confirmation of your cancellation. It is the customer's responsibility to save their cancellation confirmation email from us as proof of cancellation. Late cancellations (within 2 weeks of arrival of package delivery) or refusals are subject to a 15% restocking fee, in addition to any non-refundable deposit taken. It is your responsibility to know your country's custom/fees and duties costs. Refusal of a package because of  your country's custom/fees and duties cost does not wave the restocking fee or deposit loss. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 situation, we are working with a limited staff, and we ask your patience as cancellations may take up to 10 business days to complete.  “There is a 15% restocking fee for all preorder, non-stock, late, made-to-order items.  Paypal cancellations or if you decide to change from Paypal to another form of payment, there will also be a 15% charge as PayPal does not refund service fees for any reason.”


Masks, Costumes, and/or other apparel are subject must be returned with invoice, unworn, and in original condition in its original packaging. There is a 15% restocking fee on all apparel, masks, and costumes. Resin kits may only be returned if defective.  Sanding, gluing or painting constitutes a used product and is not eligible for return. If they are in the exact condition they were upon arrival, you may return it at your cost for a refund of the product only, plus 15% restock. We do not refund any shipping for returns.  ALL returns, exchanges, or claims for missing, defective, or damaged parts must be made within 7 days of receipt. There are no refunds on Money orders or Checks for any order, regardless of reason. We will only issue store credit for purchases with checks or Money Orders. There are absolutely no refunds or exchanges on Custom Built & Painted items, Finished Kits, Special Orders, or shipping and handling fees for any reason.


DVD's-DVR's-Blu-Ray's-CD's-CDR's-Soundtracks-Software are non-returnable or refundable unless discs are damaged. Damaged or defective videos, soundtracks and software may be returned for the same merchandise only. There are no refunds on DVD'S-DVR'S-BLU-RAY'S-CD'S-CDR'S-SOUNDTRACKS-SOFTWARE or any recorded media. If a jewel case is cracked, we will replace the case for you. Plastic kits must be unopened to return. There is a 15% restocking fee for all preorder, non-stock, late, made-to-order item, or any PayPal cancellations. If you decide to change from PayPal to another form of payment, there will also be a 15% charge as PayPal does not refund service fees for any reason .We only accept cancellations by telephone and during our business hours. If you cannot call, please do not assume it is cancelled without a confirmation from us. We cannot cancel an order that has already been processed for shipping! We do not refund any shipping charges for late cancellations. 


Please email us for an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization Number) BEFORE returning. We will do everything we can to resolve the issue promptly An RMA # number must be marked on the outside of your return Package or Box, but NEVER placed directly onto the original item package or box itself. Putting the RMA number on the product package or box ruins the product. This means you must double-box or double-wrap.  Should you place an RMA# onto the original package or box itself, the product cannot be accepted for return or credit and will be returned to you at your shipping expense.


Refunds are only for products only, not shipping nor return shipping. We can only issue credit(s) to the original method of payment that was used in the transaction. Please allow 2-3 business days to take effect. ALL return (RMA) items are to be shipped prepaid and insured via United States Postal Service (USPS), Federal Express (FedEx), United Parcel Service (UPS), or DHL. Please allow 2 weeks upon our receipt for processing. On any return, Monsters in Motion is not responsible for any duties or custom fees, nor exchange rate differences. Some international items may not be returned due to custom fees and/or the chance of shipment damages done during items being held in customs. Monsters in Motion is not responsible for lost or delayed items due to customs or postal holds once tracking shows the item(s) have arrived in the destination country.

Do not begin assembling your kit until all the parts are received.  Doing so will void your return if the parts cannot be replaced. Replacement parts whether manufactured outside or within the United States may take an extended period to receive.

Oversized and/or Heavy Items
