Gate Minion Demon Creature Resin 10 Inch Resin Model Kit

I had fond memories of this film. So when this kit finally became available again I was delighted. Now that it is assembled and primed I am even more so. The likeness to the creature in the film is very good, but not perfect. The nose and mouth are close. But upon comparing it to the film, I was compelled to add points to the ears to tweak it in. The over all casting is very good and requires minimal clean up or filling. Be ready to work a little bit on the arm pits.
The best thing about it is that it is practically the same size as it appeared in the film!Holding it in one hand and looking it in the face is a little creepy. I like that. This will prove to be perfect when selecting a place to display it. Maybe in a bird cage! All in all I am quite pleased with it. I only regret I could not get the kit of the "demon" from The Gate's climax when it was available. What a set that made! But at least I had another chance at this one! Take my advise. Don't let it get away again! And be careful with geodes. JPF
