Short Circuit Johnny 5 Robot Life Size Prop Replica:
 
This is an exact replica of the Johnny 5 robot as seen in the movie Short Circuit. This will show you what it takes to create this fantastic robot. It took approx. 1 year to create this robot using laser cut aluminum parts, custom created resin covers along with various motors and servos and batteries. He currently weighs in around 350lbs. This is as close as you can get to the ultimate goal of having a fully operational Johnny 5 robot.
 
Design features:
Built to exact dimensions
All aluminum super structure
He is built using many of the same servos, motors, eyes and tracks.
All the covers were custom made off the detailed photos of the original
 
Other features:
Lip light and remote controlled voice and sounds
 
Recently added functions but not fully tested:
Many functions in the head assembly.
Track drives work.
Arm Motion....up and down.
 
I don't have a telemetry suit as used on the original
 
He is very heavy 
He does not tip toe as in the movie
