Starfleet Academy Trainer 1:48 Model Kit:

Featured in Episode #119 "First Duty" of ST:TNG,  the Trainer was a one-man shuttle-sized craft used to help Starfleet Academy cadets practice intra-system piloting, navigation and battle tactics. Capable of both space and atmospheric flight, the Trainer was powered by two impulse engines and had no warp capabilities.
 The Trainer miniature was built specifically for the "First Duty" episode and marked the craft's one and only appearance on the series.
