Emergency!
A Salute to Fire and Rescue Anything fire and rescue-related qualifies, which opens opportunities in every discipline of modeling. Evacuation points, like a M.A.S.H. camp or a hospital ship, qualify. People, animals, or vehicles (like tow trucks and earthmoving equipment) pressed into evacuation and rescue service qualify, as long as the model portrays
activity which makes it obvious and/or a photo is included to explain the connection. Open to all categories, the only limit is your imagination!

Schedule: Open to the Public 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Vendor Set-Up 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Vendor Room Open 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Model Registration 9:00 AM to 11:30 PM
Contest Judging* Noon to 3:00 PM
Awards Presentation 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM
*Portions of the Contest Room will be open during Judging on a rotating basis

What Is OrangeCon?
IPMS Orange County hosts an annual model contest each September or October called OrangeCon.
OrangeCon has proven to be the largest and most respected gathering of modelers and their models in Southern California for more then 20 years. The models displayed cover all types and eras of subject matter.
OrangeCon features Vendors and Special Events, but is known most for the contest portion of the event with a large number of contest categories as well as special theme awards and as many as 600 entries which is remarkable as it is only a one-day event.
We invite modelers of all ages and experience to participate in OrangeCon as well as those interested in only viewing the models to attend our event.
