1/25 Scale. This classic kit features opening doors, hood and trunk. Engine can be built 2 ways. Tons of extra parts. Molded in white with lots of chrome. Custom fitting and cutting will be needed to build this kit as reflected in the artwork! Artwork by Gene Chambers. Over 200 parts. SKILL LEVEL 3.

Kit features: Engine can built 2 ways: V-8 Chevy 265 cu. in. or V-8 “BLOWN” Chevy 409 cu. in. Opening hood, doors and trunk Molded in white and clear and chrome, Rubber tires, Tons of extra parts, Special cutting & fitting is required.

About the 1955 Chevrolet

The big year for Chevrolet was 1955 when their powerful new V-8 engine was introduced to the public in an all-new line of cars. The most popular model in the '55 line was the sporty Bel Air Hardtop with a sleek wrap-around windshield and luxurious interiors. The many options available gave the purchaser of a '55 Chevy a wide choice of engines, transmissions, and interior and exterior colors. In recent years '55 Chevys have become well-known on drag strips across the country, running in all the ever-popular 'Gasser' classes. Besides being a stormer on the strips, the '55 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop continues to appear in many custom car shows as a mild or wild show car. The popularity and versatility of the '55 Chevy will make this model an excellent addition to your collection of popular custom and competition cars. Build it using the many X-Parts that Atlantis has included to create your own custom version of a Classic hot rod.
