Matango Attack of the Mushroom People Soundtrack CD (Japanese Import):

Although it has long held a cult following among tokusatsu and horror film fans, this unique work has rarely been available in general retail stores. Now, more than 60 years after its theatrical release, it returns once again!

A gem of a horror film that remains unparalleled to this day, featuring the egos of humans pushed to their limits and the overwhelming presence of a "third species." The lushly eerie and aesthetic score by Sadao Bekku is revived through the latest remastering by an engineer long involved with Toho's tokusatsu soundtracks.

In addition to the original soundtrack used in the film, bonus tracks include alternate takes, sound effects, and excerpts from Kokusai Himitsu Keisatsu: Kagi no Kagi, also composed by Sadao Bekku, this the third incarnation of the score on record.
